Your life is as good as your mindset!
"Having gone beyond the mind-made opposites, you become like a deep lake. The outer situation of your life and whatever happens there is the surface of the lake. Sometimes calm, sometimes windy and rough, according to the cycles and seasons. Deep down, however, the lake is always undisturbed. You are the whole lake, not just the surface, and you are in touch with your own depth, which remains absolutely still."
- Eckhart Tolle
The chaos and noise happening around you and in your own mind can sometimes feel like that's all that exists. Living in a state of reactivity, being pushed and pulled by your thoughts and feelings at any given moment.
Being controlled by that voice in your head, worrying about everything that can go wrong, criticising you for everything you do wrong, and being angry for everything that went wrong.

This voice interprets every situation instantaneously. we don't question it, just like we don't question our own breathing. It happens unconsciously. Then we feel and act on our voice's interpretation.

Everyone has a different voice, some are nicer to us than others!

The great news is that the voice is not who you are!

We all have two sides. the one that is thinking, feeling and reacting, and then there's the one that's aware of the thoughts, emotions and reactions.

You are that awareness!!

You are the presence that witnesses the voice, you are NOT the voice!

Knowing this allows you to observe what your inner voice is thinking or doing.

This is self awareness.

When you practise more self awareness you become conscious, and the process of developing your self awareness is mindfulness.

Until you develop self awareness and mindfulness, you will live the majority of your life on autopilot, feeling like you have no control over your thoughts, emotions, or even your life.

Developing your awareness unlocks all of your power. The power to direct your own inner voice, choose better emotions and make better decisions.

Your higher self is untouchable, it's always there. You can tap into this at any time!

Learn how to find the calm at the bottom of the lake....

Learn how to use your power to observe, acknowledge and redirect your emotions and behaviours. This is only possible when you're focused in the moment!
Pay attention to what is going on in this present moment. You can notice the
the mind remembering an emotion from the past, or worrying about the future.

If you go with your mind to these past or future places, you lose this awareness. The way to practice mindfulness is to bring your awareness as often as possible to what is happening right now!
